COVID-19 (coronavirus) advice: latest information

UQ VETS Dayboro continue to be available for all of your pet’s veterinary requirements with the health and wellbeing of our staff, students, clients and patients as our first priority.

We encourage you to call our friendly reception team to discuss your pet's individual circumstances

In response to COVID-19, the below infection control practices are in place.

  • Two (2) clients in the reception area at any one time, please wait outside near your vehicle until you can enter the building
  • Before you enter our hospitals you will be asked to wear a mask while inside. If you do not have your own mask our team will happily provide you with one.
  • One (1) client only per pet will be permitted into the consultation room
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided upon entry and exit to the building
  • Please maintain 1.5m physical separation from staff at all times
  • Call ahead and notify staff if you are unwell or have travelled recently as you will need to rebook your appointment
  • Please call 3425- 1544 prior to visiting the clinic if you wish to pick up any over the counter products or medications
  • We request payment via Eftpos only- no cash

Please be patient if your visit takes longer than usual in these changing times.

We continue to take the latest advice from the state and federal governments and their medical advisers. This page was last updated January 12, 2021.

Note: these practices may change at any time without notice depending upon the latest advice from the state and federal governments and their medical advisers.
